that_guy, Hi, i am not sure what rollercoaster it was that i saw. I would imagine it was probably turn of the century or whizzer. When the park first opened were those the only 2 coasters there (except for gulf coaster)? It was close to border of park from what i remember and have no idea if it was ...

My earliest memories of MGA are rather interesting. Actually, early-mid 70's i was in 4H, lived in Milwaukee area. Our 4H group was on an outing to museum in Chicago. On the way there (the following month we were going to Dandilion park) An adult chaperone told us that it might be the last time we w...

Souvineir Books

Does anyone know of any books or publications that SFGA or MGA has or had. Alot of places sell booklets with pictures and info about park. Most likely in souvinier shops. I have searched e-bay and amazon cannot find anything. Also i have looked under book stores. I would find it hard to believe that...

Though i hav to admit i got banged up quite a bit on it . Back then I had a problem with anorexia and was pretty frail. The restraint was pulle...

Thanks for responding. I appreciate it. It is so good to talk with others that have memories of the same things. I am curious, since they put the water park in, looks as though alot of parking area was taken up. That lot was always filled. Do they now have offsite parking?

August, 1979 they had some sort of a radio-sponsered Country music thing. I was there under a large tent, pictures of the Oak Ri...
