-Skyhawk used to be where the 3-point basketball challenge game is now, next to the first aid station. -The Yankee Clipper loading station was approximately behind the Outback Shack eating place. -The Edge was where the Thunder Raceway go-karts are now. -Tidal Wave used to be behind the Action Theat...

^When you mention people buying tickets for the wrong park, do a lot of people buy tickets for the Santa Clara park thinking it's for the Six Flags park? I have a friend in Admissions in Santa Clara and she says they have had people trying to get in with a Six Flags Great America ticket.

^^Tidal Wave, or should I say Greased Lightning's last season was in 2002, not 1998.

^Yankee Clipper was removed to make room for Stealth, so they would both have not been there at the same time. Boomerang Bay may not be the best waterpark, but it draws a lot of people in the summer.

It was removed in either 1998 or 1999. I'm pretty sure it was 1999 because Yankee Clipper was removed in 1998, so Skyhawk was most likely removed in 1999. And the train was gone in 2000. It was always broken every time I went to ride it, but it was a really fun ride once I actually got on it.

It's called Skyhawk. And you sit in a pod that slowly turns around the center tower, and you use a joystick to do barrel rolls.

^^They can't bring Yankee Clipper back because Boomerang Bay is there. The only ride they could probably bring back, which they never would, is Triple Play, just for the fact that the empty space is still there. ^People would still wait in line. Invertigo is a very short coaster and probably has the...

Tidal Wave wasn't drawing in visitors. I remember going to the park one Saturday in the Summer in 1999, and while all of the coasters had a 2 hours wait, Tidal Wave was a walk on. It costs money to run rides, and if no one is riding it, they're losing money.

Sky Whirl can stay away. I hated that ride. It was boring and nothing special about it. But Tidal Wave and Triple Play I would like to see again, although never going to happen. They remove rides for a reason.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention I was talking about SFGAm, not CGA. Sorry for the confusion but good to know it's still there too. Oh, I know you meant Six Flags. "Fright Fest" and "Farmer's Market" gave it away. I'm not a big fan of parks having chain restaurants or fast food pl...

That's what's nice about CGA; everything in Food Festival (food court) is not a big chain food place. But who knows is Cedar Fair is going to keep it that way.

I've only been to CGA, so I can't say anything about SFGam. As for the themeing, Paramount's definitely got rid of it for the Santa Clara park. However, IMO, the Gurnee park has pretty much lost it's themeing as well, with the exception of Southwest Territory. After the addition of the Dark Knight c...
