Looks like there was at least one live show in the SC Pictorium. I found a blurb about Wild West Days from an old Great America Bulletin (GAB) dated April 10, 1982 that I have. "Country music star Mel Tillis performed for guests Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4, in the Pictorium." Brian

I think we had some in the Pictorium also, but the ones in the saloon, you could have popcorm, peanuts, and drinks while watching the show.

My guess would be the type of weather each park gets. I think a wood floor at Gurnee would need alot more maintance due to freezing temps, I've seen the pictures with the snow :) and the carpet would provide better traction.

Just my thoughts, my reasoning could be wrong.

If you have a good size backyard, you could arrange them around a firepit, or an outdoor fireplace. One of the ones that I remember is that people would comment about, that alot of people working at the park had the same last name "Lead" :) If you were a lead, you would have lead on your nametag next to your name.
