Re: Gurnee Edge may still live
This is not the Gurnee Edge- it is a first generation freefall that used to operate indoors, yes indoors, at the huge mall in Edmonton in Canada. It was removed a few years ago, and replaced by an S+S launch/drop tower in the same spot. I LOVE first generation freefalls, the way they operate, and ev...

Since I've been going there since 1977, there's alot gone now that I've been on. Just ask my son, I'm always pointing out places in the park where they used to stand! I've been on the Edge (my favorite!), Tidal Wave, Z-force, Sky Whirl, Haybailer, Cajun Cliffhanger, Splashwater Falls, Shockwave, Bot...

well, I guess you've all heard by now that DejaVu is history, and several other rides and attractions are no longer listed on the Six Flags GA website, including Space Shuttle, Splashwater Falls (so with the removal of Vu and SWF, could GA be getting a huge new coaster for '08, then?), Theater Royal...

I will go against the trend here and vote for Tidal Wave. The twisted track on V2 looks much scarier than it is, and even riding in the front seat, never once did I ever feel like we would hit or go off the dead end. However, on Tidal Wave in the front, I still feel like it's the end of the line and...

As for Yankee Clipper and Logger's Run - I noticed brand new paint jobs on both Clipper and Logger's Run this year- plus they changed the name back from that goofy sponsorship with Ice Mountain to Yankee Clipper, and put in a beautiful new nautical-themed sign for the side. I doubt they would go thr...
