Mash Bash

Anyone remember the employee party named "Mash Bash?? I wanna say it was in 86 which would have made me 13, but im not sure. My aunt took me and my cousin there and I had a blast. Now that I think about, it may have been held right around Maggie Browns Boarding House. I also vividly remember th...

However, I believe Pirates Alley worked a little different. It seemed to me that the Pirates Alley guns actually shot a concentrated blast of air to register with the targets. The guns definitely made a different noise - much like pressurized "poof" of air. The Pirates Alley shooting rang...

Omg, the one thing I miss the most has to be the belgian waffles. Those were sooooo good. When I was younger, thats the only thing I was looking forward to eating. I thought it was cool how they used squares of ice cream to top em with. Dippin Dots and Waffle cones just don't quite compare. :( BRING...

Trip Report 8/10/06

Well, ive been going to this park since it opening day. And on this day I couldnt wait to get there. We got there at about 11. I made the mistake of having a lit cigarette when I went through the gate and was promptly told (much to my dismay) that Six Flags was now smoke free. We then walked straigh...

Does anybody remember the blue train getting stuck at the top?? When I used to work there, which was from 88 thru 91, I can recall numerous times the fire department had to be called to get people down from the top. Ive personally seen this as I worked in the games gallery for all those years.

Nice vid. Just curious why you didnt show the train going up the back spike. And ya, I miss the hell out of the Tidal Wave at SFGA. That was my all-time favorite ride. Not just the ride itself, but everything else about it. The atmosphere that was created just walking through the line, and of course...
