I dont remember what it was called before but the name was changed to the Mardi Gras Recording Studio. If I remember correctly the studio was closed after the 2005 season. What it was replaced with I cant remember.

Angelo's also has a all you can pile on your plate pasta. I think its around $8.50 but its the best deal in the park for the amount of food you get.

It's weird that it could be rebranded as Knott's since its not the company name. I think it would make more sense to call it Cedar Fair's Great America. I hope Cedar Fair can work something out so they can use the name Great America.

I think Cedar Fair might retheme some of the areas if they dont renew the PGA contracts. I dont know what they would want to do as far as bringing back the Great America theme. I know Cedar Fair will eventually bring the Peanuts Gang and do something with that.

I found the confirmation of Wiggles World disappointing and more so when I watched this video http://www.sixflags.com/parks/newengland/parkpress/wigglesworld.html SFGAm already has Camp Cartoon Network and Looney Tunes National Park so I dont see a need for another kids area. I think it will take ri...

From the Marriott rides I miss Sky Whirl the most. Sky Whirl was a fun ride and it was also awesome to look at. I used to stare at it trying to figure out how it worked and how someone thought of the design. I think Intamin only built a few triple wheels and its a shame such a great ride is gone. Fr...

NotBill that was a great post! I dont remember the sound effects but the pain is unforgettable. The restraints on King Chaos are no where near as bad as the restraints on Power Dive. King Chaos is a terrible ride and GAm could have done better.

People are easily distracted when they drive. When the clips play on the sign people are going to watch them. You only have to be distracted for one second to get into an accident. Im not saying there are going to be a ton of accidents but there will be a good amount.

I love the current sign and I dont think it needs to be updated. When this new sign starts to cause accidents GAm is going to want to put the old sign up.

I dont know why I thought Turn of the Century was in Hometown. That was a really stupid mistake on my part. Thanks for the correction. There were vertical loops before corkscrews. Heres a link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_loop If you dont like that info then look up the history of roller co...
