The rides and attractions I miss at GA are as follows and I quote: Sky Whirl, Hay Baler, Shockwave, Trailblazer (if they're taking it down), Sadie's No-Chance Hotel, the less-traveled section at Yankee Harbor with the Lighthouse. Disney World: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, World of Motion, Journey Into Imag...

That sounds like a surefire lesson on telling you that lies are never good and consequences always result.

Shock Wave: That used to be like the taller brother to the Demon. It had more loops and higher drops. I still prefer that to Superman. Haybaler: Not the best ride but still was a classic. It added to the County Fair feel. Sky Whirl: Now THAT was a one-of-a-kind ride. The park has not been the same w...

The first drop on the Demon has to be one of the steepest first drops in existence today. It still puts Vu's and V2's to shame. I don't know about Raging Bull. When I was around 8 years old I had the option of riding the coaster but I was still scared of coasters at the time. My mother used to tell ...

Here's hoping they will restore them to their full lengths and not replace them completely like PGA did!

Soundtracks in the Gurnee Park Vs. Santa Clara

I never went to the Santa Clara park but I'm curious about the soundtracks there. For those of you who have been there, would they happen to play the same stuff as the Gurnee park? I'm just asking.

Where's the Marriott soundtracks???

I was at the park today and I noticed something a tad different from last weekend: The original park music was missing in action. Yukon played disco from the 70s while County Fair had top ten hits from the 80s and Hometown Square had the oldies. At one point, I heard 'Tequilla' play there. Is this s...

To Brian Plencer: I work there at the park now and I have for the past 7 seasons, minus two and a half. I was in Park Services and then in the gap before returning there as a Foods host. I think it's cool giving the park attendance while speaking the radio language. They have added another subpoint ...
