More old postcard photos

All but one of these are from one of those sets, were you to tear off the postcard to mail (which I did). These are from the little booklet that is left over. http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/8328/minicard33up.th.jpg http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/5158/minicard20lg.th.jpg http://img355.imagesh...

Main Gate Photographers

I think it was called Eyespy. They weren't even park employees, yet wore the uniforms. Are they still around?

I still have one of me with a few co-workers in the audit office.

Love those photos. Does anyone have the same of the Santa Clara park? Back when I worked there, I would pass cows and orchards on the short (then about 10 min) drive from home to the park.

Bugs Bunny Patch

I found this today. Interesting thing, which you can't see in the scan, is that it is dated 1975. Makes it a little more interesting.

Thanks Brian. I remember it being a nice quiet, out of the way place to go when you needed a break (that is "quiet", considering it was a kennel)

That's right Brian. That was my job to get all those numbers and call them in to the office so they could read them over the radio. I guess they were fairly accurate.

I was 16 when I started there. Kids are different now, that's for sure.

Kennel

Do they parks still operate kennels? Did anyone here work there? I walked through them every now and then when I did an audit. What was the oddest pet checked in? I think someone brought a snake once that I heard of.

Gas Station

In the early years (Santa Clara) there was a gas station in the far corner of the parking lot that the parking lot crew ran. Was there one in Gurnee as well?
