Gene Patrick was the Vice President of Show Operations for Marriott's. Gene was responsible for the entertainment concepts of the parks. When the parks opened, the Show Department was HUGE! Along with the Music Hall shows there were The Bugs Bunny shows in Theatre Royle, which Gene wrote, The Circus...

At the Gurnee park in 1977 we used all the Bugs costumes Ed mentioned, although I remember our Orleans costume being lite blue. The cue line shows were actually funny. The escort would pull along a rolling wagon which held the props and sound system, which was an 8-track tape running off a car batte...
