Wow...never realized all that space was there...let's just hope it isn't left all empty once the ride's put in.

Theater Royale is the same as CGA's "Showtime Theater," right? The one under Top Gun's roll? And I think we're losing our pictorium for the future woodie...I've heard that building's already gutted and has been water damaged...

I guess this idea says the same for Drop Zone. They keep the cabin carriers parked up at the top while the cabins sit down below when the ride is closed, or if they're only using half of the tower.

CGA's sky tower sits up at the top as well when the park closes. My first guess was that being as it's enclosed, you wouldn't want someone trespassing into the park and kind of wedge those doors open and camp out in it..I know, sounds like a ridiculous idea. I guess that keeping the cables unexposed...

Only ridden LR. I love the double dip drop as it provides some nice floater air coming down. Closest I got to riding YC was standing in line near the station when the ride went down. I recall seeing on of YC's boats floating in a pond, randomly spinning around and thought it was funny at the time. (...

California's Great America (RCT3)

I started this project back in June of '07, took a break as I was visiting the park, and now that it's the offseason I will continue with it. Originally, I was only relying on the park map but have visited more than enough times plus got many pictures to use as reference. I know there's another RCT3...

Dunno what you all are talking about...it's working great here...actually, I'm getting a WebhostingBuzz.com page...It said something about the site being suspended or something to that extent.

Sorry to double post but I have some extremely good news for us Californians/those who want to see a revival of the Santa Clara park. 2008, we're getting a top spin dubbed "Firefall" with water/fire effects. (I love fire effects on rides, like Survivor). 2009, we're getting a GCI woodie (p...

Not to knock anyone down for the park, but there are some goof-ups as seen in the screenshots. Vortex doesn't have that other helix other than the one that wraps around the "loop-de-loop." Also, I believe Top Gun had a goof: A vertical loop instead of the trademark corkscrew over the water...

Unfortunately, all those surrounding buildings by the carousel made the whole plaza seem to shrink including the carousel. I remember as a kid that the carousel looked massive. Depending on where I'm at in the park now, I don't really see outside the park unless I'm on a coaster or Drop Zone.

Again, I don't see GA going anywhere. Found this article yesterday at NCC about GA in '09. The San Jose Mercury News has another good article on the Great America and 49ers situation today. It's mostly focused on land assessment values that the Santa Clara County land assessor brought up, trying to ...

Some interesting news for the next season or the following season after that. Screamscape mentions that ... And finally we’ve heard that by sometime in 2008 or 2009, Cedar Fair may start to drop a few of the themed names for select attraction, specifically Top Gun and Survivor were both mentioned as...

I personally don't think GA's going anywhere either. Personally, I think this all just a huge publicity stunt for both Cedar Fair and the 49ers. The park's been there too long and is a major bay area attraction. The 49er's should reconsider this instead of being a selfish football team (a good reaso...
