Wow, it's still only $7/hr (at least at Gurnee). You would think that 9 years later, and with new lifeguards making at least $8/hr, they would raise the rest of seasonal pay rates (rides, food service, admissions, park services, etc.) to at least $8/hr as well. http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatame...

It's amazing how far we've come in terms of how much the computer controls. Rides like American Eagle and Whizzer had brakemen, you don't see those anymore.
