This is what I meant by "I think Stealth had something to do with it":
My theory was that Stealth came in for the 2000 season, attention would be huge for it, so Greased Lightnin is sitting across the midway... So yeah what are people thinking- "look an old loop!" -or- "look its a brand new one of a kind flying coaster!!!!" hence the short lines. So the park would be thinking why keep some old loop coaster no one even notices anymore, lets just save the money to operate it and sell it in 2002... Then the park is crazy enough to get rid of Stealth and just waste a perfectly good ride...
That was always how I saw it before the forums, but now there is of course more to it, but yeah, don't be so "WTF...blah blah blah"...
