I miss my Shockwave. Found this pic on a GAdv fan website.

It's the red train from our Shockwave. At least that won't go to waste.

Some things I remember about the Shockwave:
1. No Matter how long the line appeared to be from the outside it only seemed like a 30 minute wait.. Line moved very fast (until you got through the home stretch).
2. This ride always shook me up... One time I got a headache from my head hitting both sides of the harness... (Not too suprisingly, if you could manage to "force" your head to stay on the Headdress you wouldn't get banged up at all (just shooken up ).
3. I loved all the loops except for the "Boomerang Loop".. I felt this loop was WAY too bumpy to be enjoyable.
4. Shockwave was in a part of the park which was allowed to operate rides early before official open time, therefore if I got there early enough I could ride once (or even twice or even three times) before getting in line for the official park opening. Great way to begin a great day!!!
