Worse ride

Post by greatamericagirl »

To me, it's between Power Dive/Top Gun (dont' remember what it was called) and Giant Drop.

Power Dive because I remember locking the shoulder harness too tight around my diaphram and almost passed out because I couldn't breathe. I knew it as soon as I did it but of course, leave it to a 16 year old operator to pay attention!

Giant Drop because I hate free fall rides and well, now it's because I like my feet, thank you.

Currently, I'd have to say East River Crawler. I just think it's a boring ride. Good for little kids but I only liked it for about 3 rides.
I need a great day this year, or 2, or 30!

C'mon don't hate Crawler... You get that spinning fast enough that is better than any other flat ride we have. Home Town Fun Machine would be my vote.

You're right about the fun machine. THat thing is just slow! THe crawler isn't a bad ride, I just think, well, sometimes you spin good, sometimes you don't. It isn'r consistent like fiddler's fling.

I hate King Chaos, partly because I think it's a stupid ride, and partly because I resent the fact that this idiotic thing is sitting in the same place as of one the greatest rides of all time, the Edge! :x I would even have preferred that they kept Power Dive over this silly ride.

Oh, and I really want to like Ragin Cajun, since I love wild mouse coasters, but the 2nd half of the ride when it starts spinning is really annoying and way too rough, IMO! At least if they would've had spinning cars like on Tony Hawk, where the riders face each other, two people on each side, I wouldn't be as bad. (BTW, If you want a really good wild mouse- ride Road Runner at Kentucky Kingdom)

For me the worst Marriots ride would have to be the Home Town Fun Machine.

You can get spinning in any car, it just takes the right technique.

Personally, Fiddler's Fling is the only ride I avoid, now that Shockwave is gone. I can handle rides very well, but for some reason, I never feel good coming off that one.

^I have to agree. Fiddler's Fling gets me sick and I can usually handle spinning rides. For me, my worst roller coaster is Iron Wolf and my worst flat is Fiddler's Fling. I've never been on King Chaos yet but hope to ride it not because I want to but to complete my flats at SFGAm. Revolution is boring for me and the spot to put your head is to tight and the seats are just uncomfortable!

I agree that Deja Vu is the worst ride ever put in at the Gurnee park it took away two great rides.

^I forgot what ride Vu took out? I only remembered Sky Whirl. What else was there? Vu wasn't all that great either. One of the worse ride in the park until now that is. The only thing it had good was it's view and colors that brightened the park a bit.

The other ride that Deja Vu took away was the Hay Baler.

The funny thing was, a lot of people forgot about Hay Baler until it was gone.
