Plymouth Place

In 1997 that area on the border of Hometown and Carousel Plaza with Space Shuttle America and Sky Trek Tower was temporarily renamed Plymouth Place. Did anything change for that area or did Plymouth Cars just slap their name on the park map?

I think it was mainly Plymouth advertising because I recall there were a few car "demos" on display. I also remember that that was about the time that the Grand Prix (the extra pay attraction for go carts) was first built

BTW is the Grand Prix still around, or was it removed once Hurricane Harbor was built?

The raceway was added a few years later and it is still there, next to Space Shuttle America.
