I like the commercials that have been posted on this site, they're pretty clear with good sound. I was wondering how/where you obtained them. It looks like they were from 8mm film, whats the story? Thanks!

I wish there was a DVD of 1976-1984 footage from Marriott's Great America parks and the 1976-1984 Marriott's Great America TV commercials (almost all of them).

Back in 1999 the gurnee park held an "Alumni Day" for all past employee's of the park. During the picnic lunch in the picnic grove, they played a VHS tape that had (I think) all of the commericals that ran between 1976 and 1999. If it was not all of them, they at least had one from every season. I don't know if the park still has it or not, but it would be something cool to see.
