I've been going to the Gurnee park almost every year since it opened. I can't say enough about what this site means to me. So many great memories happened at that park. I absolutely loved the Tidal Wave, Demon and Eagle. I'm still very impressed with Viper, Batman, Bull, and of course elgaE!
A huge thanks to Steven for making this site what it is. I had a chance to meet him at the PGA Tidal Wave 25th anniversary a couple years back and he's done a great job both with the quality of content, and the overall look of the site. Plus he was a huge help in getting me reference for the model. If you need historical photos, he's the one!
Anyways, glad to be on here and it's great to see all the stories and photos from two of America's greatest parks. Keep 'em coming.
