Great America Envelope

Post by xxlatinogueroxx »

How ironic is this?! I was walking home from school one day and I noticed a piece a paper on the ground. As I picked it up it turned out to be this...THIS!!! An envelope of Six Flags Great America dated back 10-15 years ago. Now people said its not that big of a deal and how would I know its from 10-15 years ago. Well it has the original Great America logo with the Six Flags mark on it when they first bought the park which they stopped using about a decade ago. This is for a season pass order form and the new season pass forms are of a bigger, nicer, newer version with pictures in it of the park. The weird thing is that the envelope was sealed with nothing in it. Why would this end up on the ground 10-15 years later...could someone have kept it all this time? If they did why did the choose to throw it out? Weird huh?

It probably was dropped outside only recently. It would not have lasted outdoors through that many years of weather.

Yea thats true but the fact that someone had it that long and dropped is ironic because I found it to add on to my collection

My guess is that someone decided to finally clean out their glove compartment. :) It probably got rained on, which is why it sealed shut.

^I agree on you with that one but hte idea of the envelope being sealed shut is weird because you know how you usually open an evelope you rip the edges, well the edges were not ripped off at all. Maybe, im guessing, that someone found a spare envelope back in the day and kept it, decided to throw it out now and the rained made it seal shut.

It was a return envelope for a season pass offer. Someone probably kept it but never used it, and since there is no use for it today, just threw it out.
