Today (29th) Marriots Great America opened its gates for the first time in 1976. 30 years old! PGA Stills thrils guests of all ages! Happy b-day PGA!!

I thought the Gurnee park opened on May29th in 1976 and the Santa Clara Park opened a few months earlier ???

Yes. Gurnee opened today 30 years ago and Santa Clara opened earlier.

Yes, today does mark the 30th anniversary of the Gurnee park. While Santa Clara did open earlier in the season (I think it was in April), today is still a very special day.

Going to spend the day out there today. I'll take lots of pictures of everything that they do today, and everything else that I can find.
