Did you know the person who said in the opening of the first 1976-1977 Marriott's Great America TV commercials ("America, it's a family country.") is the late Danny Dark, one time a St. Louis disc jockey who also did in the 1980's many NBC and ABC network promos and was the voice of Superman on Hanna-Barbera's Superfriends cartoon series?
