Logger's Run/ Yankee Clipper

Post by that_guy »

Last summer I was at the park and I remember getting a REALLY bad picture on Logger's Run. And you know how they have like some sort of "character" or something on those pictures…Well their was some lumberjack like guy(I didn't buy the picture so I can't show it)…so I was wondering did the two flumes have some sort of character on them, if so do you have a picture?

When I worked on the Santa Clara Loggers in the late 70's there were no picture taking or characters. The closest was the "finger". As the log was leaving the station there was a sign in a shape of a hand telling the guests to remain seated. The index finger was position across the flume in a way that if you were still standing you would hit it.

Photos are actually taken by an outside company, Kamman's Art Shops currently does the SC Park. As for the character, it might of been something added by the company to make the photo more appealing. As for recolection of any character, neither did I belive.
