New Rides/Attractions for 2006

Post by JW65 »

Hey Everyone....

Kinda quiet in the Forums lately. Does anyone know what the new rides and attractions at SFGAm and PGA will be for 2006? Would be soooooo cool if the parks' big shots would bring back one of our favorite rides that has been dismantled in honor of the 30th Year Anniversary of the parks. Anyone pass this wonderful idea on to the execs??

:-)) Jeff

Not anymore. I heard PGA said they're cancelling that ride because the public found out.

And yes, SFGAm is getting a ???? for 2006.

I edited this thread because I'm following ACE's policy of not commenting on new attractions prior to any official announcement. I'm locking the thread now. Once the official announcements are made, discussion here will be most welcome. Thanks.

Gurnee has announced

Post by steven »

Hi,

Gurnee's had an official announcement. It's currently available here:
http://www.prnewswire.com/mnr/sixflags/23528/.

Feel free to discuss this now! I'm unlocking the topic. Remember that discussion of Santa Clara's new-for-2006 additions is still embargoed here until we get an official announcement. Thanks!

^^Steven, PGA offically announced today at NCC that they will be getting an exteneded zamperlla disko called Survivor the ride and it will be themed to the crappy show of the same name (and they have the gall to call it a coaster) and to answer the above question: because that is the standard color for the tornado

So, there will be a new attraction in Hurricane Harbor, but not in the theme park itself? Anyone have an update on this?

Correct. Hurrican Harbor is getting a Tornardo Slide. As far as the main theme park, nothing was said about new attractions.
