There is a nice article at Wikipedia about the history of Marriotts and Six Flags Great America in Gurnee - from conception in 1974 to present.

I must say you did a great job with the article! But I think you should do something about "was the first roller coaster to feature a double corkscrew" since their were double corkscrews opening in 1975:

I did a major rewrite of the article at the end of January see here and then Johnrev came in and has been meticulously adding bits and pieces, it looks good.

If some of you guys could help out with photos that would be great to better document the article. If you don't want to edit yourself (anyone can) feel free to contact me and I can get them out there.
