Eagle Work Under Way

Post by NotBill »

This is almost silly to mention because, at least when I was there it was said Eagle was worked on every day. However, I noticed what appears to be plats of lumber stocked up on the lift (how they're staying there I have no idea) and some major work is going to be underway. Traffic was too heavy for me to grab a photo of it but if I'm on Washington again soon I'll try.

I hope the rest of AE gets retracked. It seems pointless to do different parts year after year.

I wish I had thought of it last week when I was there. I was taking some pictures of the Rafts in the employee parking lot, and I saw them working on the lift with the lumber, and it didn't occur for me to take a picture of it.

Do you know how many times I've kicked myself for not taking pictures when I had the chance?? :(
The things I witnessed all those years ago, they'll never be seen again.
My only excuse is I may have been low on film or the funds to develop the pics. But now, in these days of digital cameras, there's no excuse for not snapping a few shots whenever you see something cool!
Twenty years from now, you'll be glad you did! :D
