I have seen artwork on this new signage, and it is very attractive. Its up to date and modern. The top portion is not nearly as horizontally long as the current one. The sign base remains white. It is really a great update and keeps some of the character of the original

I am disappointed that they are making it smaller. I dont care for small signage. I wish people wouldn't be so concerned about the sizes and height of signs these days. I think the new sign should be made larger than the old one. I also am disapointed that advertising by others is going part of the new sign. Thanks for posting the article

To anyone complaining about the new sign: It's slightly smaller, SO WHAT?? It still looks way better than the current sign. Also, the current sign hasnt been working in over a year.
Regarding the advertisements for Starbucks and American Airlines, remember, Six Flags is $2 Billion in debt. They are getting money for having those ads. Unlike the old management, Snyder and Shapiro realize that the debt situation can not be ignored if Six Flags is to survive.
