It's called Skyhawk. And you sit in a pod that slowly turns around the center tower, and you use a joystick to do barrel rolls.

And here's the rest of the site with great pictures: http://www.leh.net/~kevin/mga/

It was removed in either 1998 or 1999. I'm pretty sure it was 1999 because Yankee Clipper was removed in 1998, so Skyhawk was most likely removed in 1999. And the train was gone in 2000. It was always broken every time I went to ride it, but it was a really fun ride once I actually got on it.

I never went on it either. :( It looks like it was a fun ride. It makes me so sad it's gone & even sadder looking at that Tidal Wave loop which I miss the most! You're right Yankee Clipper's last season was 1998 & so was Tidal Wave's. Starting w/the 1999 season it was renamed Greased Lightnin. Then removed after the 2002 season. Sky Hawk's last season was 2000. I have old maps from the SC park dating back to 1999. Stealth's last season was 2003 so that stupid waterpark could take it's place in 2004.

that water park should have better slides at least.
stealth and yankee clipper would still be here if it wasnt for the waterpark.

^^Tidal Wave, or should I say Greased Lightning's last season was in 2002, not 1998.

^Yankee Clipper was removed to make room for Stealth, so they would both have not been there at the same time. Boomerang Bay may not be the best waterpark, but it draws a lot of people in the summer.

I believe he meant 1998 was the last year for Tidal Wave's name.
I need a great day this year, or 2, or 30!

Based on surveys done a while ago, the last expantion is north of the tower slides and the lazy river.
