Yes, at least orginally (not sure if the flume has changed at SFGA). The flume on Yankee Clipper is a steep straight drop. However, once the boat reached the bottom of the drop, there was a little bump that gave the boat a little "lift" and cause it to make a bigger splash.

I'm pretty sure the bump is still there at SFGAm. I'll check though.
I need a great day this year, or 2, or 30!

lol, nah, no freefalling feeling...just a second or two of smooth sailing (no vibrations from bouncing against the sides of the flume) before a big splash. I think it's more of the psych out factor....you'd expect to have the biggest splash immediately at the bottom of the drop but not so. You hit the bottom of the drop with a little splash and start thinking, "we didn't get too wet", then in a split second, you hit the bump and are launched forward and make a big splash.

Yeah the bump is still there for both sides of the ride.

I don't think I actually got as wet on the Yankee Clipper as opposed to the Logger's Run...

So I don't think the bump added anything to the ride.

I honestly have no idea but I think SC would keep it since it's still a popular water ride on a routine hot day.
