Does anybody remember the blue train getting stuck at the top?? When I used to work there, which was from 88 thru 91, I can recall numerous times the fire department had to be called to get people down from the top. actually..........SFGAm did steal the color scheme from PGA. When I was out in CA visiting PGA with my best friend, who Rick...you know, we took a pic of Columbia and showed it to those that be at the park upon our return and VIOLA!......it was repainted that spring. HONEST TO GOD TRUE STORY!!!

yeah, but that color scheme has the track only as green and the frame blue. if you look at the original post picture, the entire loop (track and frame) is lime green. it's very interesting that SFKK has BOTH tidal wave's from the marriott parks. as for it being for parts....i dunno. why would they p...

True, true Steven.......but compared to PGA?? SFGA has kept itself "pretty much" intact. I too believe it was a huge mistake to take out the Sky Whirl....but they must have had their reasons (cost, maint., etc, etc.) Ha...I guess that could go for the huge green/blue lawn ornament that too...

30 years of employees for not just one, but two parks??? WOW...that would be a major undertaking i'm sure!! ewilson....you up for that challenge??? LOL!!! nice thought, but i doubt that would remotely happen. full-time mgmt employees, a slim maybe. seasonal employees...i really highly doubt.
