Not another spinning coaster. Why can't they do a cooler enclosed coaster. I would even settle for Rolling Thunder coming back as an enclosed ride, and make it like Disaster Transport. Hey Santa Clara, want to trade new rollercoasters?

Lets all just relax. Six Flags is trying to be a more family friendly place, so would it make sense to remove Whizzer. Besides it still has a nice sized line. By the name of the ride it is probably going to be placed where the flumes are, It's the only place where the theming makes sense. My opinion...

Hey Steven,

Is there another park in Georgia that has this type of ride? I thought the Viper that was in Georgia is the same ride that is in Kentucky now. :?:

C'mon don't hate Crawler... You get that spinning fast enough that is better than any other flat ride we have. Home Town Fun Machine would be my vote.

One ride that that I credit Six Flags for keeping, even though it was slated for the scrap heap in the past is the Whizzer. It is the one that started me on rollercoasters. I miss Rolling Thunder, and Tidal Wave.

If it isn't operating now it is doubtful Six Flags will refurbish it until after they decide to sell the park. Especially if develpers buy the land, it will just end up like Astroworld then anyway. In that cast it is a high probability that the ride would be scrapped anyway.

SAVE OUR PARKS!!!

They did used to have large sacks that squirmed as if they contained snakes. I didn't even notice that they were gone. I will check my pictures from the opening year, and see if I did take any pictures of it.

Don't forget we still picked up rafts from Thunder River from Astroworld. They use different color rafts than Roaring Rapids does.

When I worked at Power Dive it was the maintenance shed. I suspect it served the same purpose back in the Edge days... Have no idea what it is used for anymore. It is doubtful that it was the control both for the Edge since almost all of the building is in a backstage area I don't remember I was you...

Well my opinion is they should have just taken another Astroworld ride out of the scrap heap until they found a replacement. Triple Play is one of the only flat rides I still go on, and I want it back :x

I wouldn't be surprised if they get rid of the Great America name just to pull further away from the heritage that SC, and the Gurnee park share.

Wasn't Triple Play also an original Gurnee ride?
