Best yet would be to use LED displays (no glass) and could do high resolution video to make it feel as if you were spinning, going faster, or scenery of; Broadway, Grand Canyon, flying, space, rapids, etc. Each time you ride it could be different.

Parking lot speed

Does anybody know why they opted for the 14 mph instead of the normal 15 mph? Was this just a joke by the guy who made the sign? I took this picture quite a few years ago.

If you add salt to a soda drink it will react with the carbination and make it go immediatly flat. With corrisponding violent release of gas.

It was very comon for us working in the shows to go on rides on slow days between shows. Characters (in costume) would sometimes go on the rides also, even though we wen't supposed to. As characters we have rode on the Carousel, Sky Whirl, Barney Oldfield, trian, bumpercars, Eagles Flight, Tidal Wav...

Yes, they are for ambient around the park. During the parade they play the different music that comes from each float. It comes from the tape players to a wireless transmitter, to a receiver built into the floats. If you look closely at pictures of the floats you can see small antennas.

With the Warner Bros. charaters there were more shows, special costumes,and special appearances. Also everyone from all ages and places recognized them.

Bugs actually had many different costumes for each area of the park. I remember we had a bomb threat in the Show Ops building. It may have been in 1980. They had us evacuate to outside the building. Park securtiy came in and said they had found it in a closet. In the process of determining if it was a real bomb they accidently knocked it off the shelf and it crashed ...

The parks wern't losing money for Marriott's in the fact that the parks were in the black. Marriott's was losing money in the finacial aspect because the investment return on hotels was higher than what the parks were bringing in. They could build 3 Marriott hotels for what they could sell the park ...
