Looks like there was at least one live show in the SC Pictorium. I found a blurb about Wild West Days from an old Great America Bulletin (GAB) dated April 10, 1982 that I have.

"Country music star Mel Tillis performed for guests Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4, in the Pictorium."

My guess would be the type of weather each park gets. I think a wood floor at Gurnee would need alot more maintance due to freezing temps, I've seen the pictures with the snow :) and the carpet would provide better traction.

Just my thoughts, my reasoning could be wrong.

I remember when BHC3 was filmed, I was working across the street at the Convention Center at the time and we would go up on the roof and watch sometimes. It was filmed in the fall (the reason for the grey and overcast skies) during the off season when the park was closed. They were there for about a...

One of the ones that I remember is that people would comment about, that alot of people working at the park had the same last name "Lead" :) If you were a lead, you would have lead on your nametag next to your name.
