Thanks for the update, but what kind of media is the American Eagle Commercial? Real? Windows Media? Quicktime?

I'm liking the changes, new logo, cedarfair website, even losing the "Paramount's" on screamscape is quite enjoyable. Hopefully the park is going in the right direction...

I like the original SFGAm sign compared to the new one... I really don't like that curve in the image screen, makes it look weird...

By the way, here's the best picture I could find of the Santa Clara sign:

Ok, I have a random question about the sky rides.

Today the skyride has an automatic release system that deploys each cabin a certain length apart on the wire, correct? Well then how did they regulate the length between cars when it first opened?

Recently found this video of Sky Whirl on youtube for those who haven't seen it:

I must say, they did a good job keeping Sky Whirl's whirring out of the Beverly Hills Cop 3 movie.

Although I was too late to ride most of the Marriot era rides I really miss the Yankee Harbor area, especially the Tidal Wave and the Yankee Clipper. The whole area has just become a mish mash of different themes, attractions and buildings in both parks. What a dissapointment...

I always wondered what BHC3 did to the rides reputation... It was so unique that it was obivously PGA even with the "Spider" name

I was looking at the Turn of the Century pictures on this site and noticed that in 1979, the corkscrew tracks were painted red. How interesting that they were red just for that one season. Wonder if park officials knew when they had them painted red that in a year the entire track of the coaster wo...
