yep Gurnee

Been going since 1978. It's very, very strange to go there. I remember being so little ridding the bumble bee ride wearing pigtails on the side of my head, to the mid 80s wearing really, really bad pink shorts and shirt (hello 1985!), to now being 35 and I can't wait to bring my own when we have the...

Theming

Is anyone else disappointed in the theming? I went yesterday and it's a total Marvel Comics push instead of Bugs, etc (WB) push. I tried getting a t-shirt that was cute, something with Bugs or a character and it's all Marvel or general GA "tribal" wear. It sucks.

Raging Bull

Did they change the seats/harness for Raging Bull? We went there in 2005 and to me, the seats were more open and the harness was smaller. Yesterday the seats were more "enclosed" on the sides and the harness was much bigger. I also noticed that safety was pushed more (probably due to the S...

I remember the red, white, and blue cones. That ice cream place ruled. Since I was a super picky eater, I only ate the french fries, occasional buger across from the cars (near the demon; don't remember the place but they were known for steak fries). Then had my first nachos near the Demon. My paren...

Worse ride

To me, it's between Power Dive/Top Gun (dont' remember what it was called) and Giant Drop. Power Dive because I remember locking the shoulder harness too tight around my diaphram and almost passed out because I couldn't breathe. I knew it as soon as I did it but of course, leave it to a 16 year old ...

awsome

Dude, I too was at the park when it first opened but I was too little to ride on these type of rides. Amazing how the park has changed since then. DO you still go? My husband and I went 2 years ago and had horrible deja vu. It was ultra weird to remember every nook and cranny and say, "remember...
