What makes it easy is that the Paramount sign above the Great America part seems like it could just be removed easily and be replaced with Cedar fair.

Santa Clara Park: Marriott Era: Triple Play, Greased Lightnin', and Yankee Clipper KECO-Paramount's Era: Stealth One thing I wish I could've ridden if I was tall enough was The Edge. And although people bash Santa Clara Great America for getting rid of most of their Marriot rides, they have been ext...

I personally think the new logo looks better than the Paramount's. This one is simple. We probably won't see a big change when it comes to re-naming rides because the Paramount lease to use Paramount stuff doesn't expire for a nother 4 or 5 years. But we probably will see stuff that says "Param...

The only on-ride photo booths left are Vortex, Taxi Jam, Logger's Run, Psycho Mouse, and Top Gun now does on-ride videos (a really awesome feature).

They finally got the magnetic gate working at Centrifuge, so now there is only the control position. And this was written in the newletter that Great America sends out. Make sure to read the very last sentence. "They say time flies when you’re having fun. It must be true, because it’s hard to b...

The County Fair end, which is now called Action Zone (County Fair is still there, it just got split up), was the Eagle's Flight station. The Delta Flyer station is in Orleans Place next to Top Gun.

Re: Anyone remember working "Casual Pool"?

I worked in Ride Operations in 1977 in the "casual pool", so I got around and worked on many rides. I remember working Orleans Orbit, Sky Whirl, Buzzy Bee, Rue Le Dodge, Sasketchewan Scrambler, Logger's Run, Yankee Clipper and both ends of the sky ride, whose name escapes me; something li...

I've been on both. Grizzly is by far the worst. Even though Psyclone is rougher, at least it has speed, hills, banked turns, etc. Grizzly is slow, no airtime, no good elements, etc. The only thing that Grizzly beats Psyclone in, is the landscaping around the ride (trees, plants, water, etc.)

I agree with everything except for the part of taking out Xtreme Skyflyer. It's an awesome ride even if you have to pay for it. Although I would like to see Triple Play and the train return, it's not going to happen. And the triple wheel idea is just bot valid. The park takes rides out for reason, n...

If I were Cedar Fair, I would NOT get rid of Invertigo. If tt were a regular style boomerang I would understand, but there are just a few inverted boomerangs in the nation. Do a total overhaul of Logger's Run because it breaks down WAY too much.
