There was also an 8.5x11 book made for the santa clara MGA, similar to the one in this thread, that was made in 1982. It has a photo of the columbia, and if I had a scanner I would put it up since I have one. Some of the photos of the entertainers are identical in the books for both parks.

The ride you mentioned over pizza orleans now is Top Gun, which is actually a pretty fun, and intense, ride. I still have pizza there, it's not bad.
The access gates, the same I'm sure now and yes it took me awhile to get used to em lol.

Loggers run is a great ride, and I hope that everyone that visits PGA rides it at least once during their visit. When I went at the end of sept. this year, there was no line so I was able to go on this ride continuously 12 times! I hope they keep this ride for along time.

Sometime in october, PGA painted the 4 main supports a tan/brown color, the same as the remaining part of the station. It's very easy to not notice these structures because they seem to blend into the background a lot more (probably the point of painting them that color). I almost didn't notice the ...

Nice pic! Well as for the poll, definately tidal wave had better themeing. Seriously, greased lightnin just didn't work, and I know that a lot of my friends, when we visited the park the year after it was changed thought that it was a pretty lame change.

Yes, from what I've seen at PGA, removing a perfectly good ride (one of my favs) was such a sad event
