The big reason why most were shut down was because of the wind. Only the yankee clipper and the orbit were supposed to be shut down for mechanical reasons.

Today was the opening day at the Gurnee park. Overall the weather was good. A lot of the rides were closed. No I have not been to the Santa Clara park. I am sorry to here that you lost the lobster and especially triple play. But the Gurnee park has lost a lot of rides in the last eight years. Most of them have been replaced with some lame rides.

Does anyone else agree that the Gurnee park needs some more flat rides?

The other ride that Deja Vu took away was the Hay Baler.
