Wow.

It sounds like I took over where you left off. Except we used to go to El Torito's on Sunday nights to end our long weekends.

I too met my wife at GA. She was in shows, while I was in security.

I think you may be right. That would be a shame though. When the City of Santa Clara took over the park, they didn't know anything about running the park, so they hired a chain that did (KECO). That brought some stability to the park at a time when noone knew if the park would survive. After many mo...

<<And does anyone remember those troll things? the houses? i don't know if that was a Marriott thing, but they used to be where dropzone is. >>

How about a custom made plexi/with a "V" shape for each row of lights so that as the train enters the tunnel the rider is looking straight at the rows of lights?

Possible?

I'd love to see one of the parks figure out a way to re-work the light tunnel so that people couldn't damage the lights... I'm sure there is much better technology out there now where they wouldn't have to use those types of bulbs. Maybe re-build the tunnel so it's a little higher and put some fanc...

If I'm reading the description properly, isn't that the "Cajun Carpet" that Santa Clara had? I think it may have been located in Yukon Territory, but am not 100% sure of the location. It may have been Orleans Place too.

Anyone else remember?
