Not so fast. What about to the old entrance? The Yankee Clipper sign is more modernized and 'fit in' to the age of bubblegum pop. It would be nice if the old sign did return indeed, but I guess it wouldn't matter since half the theming in Yankee Harbor is gone anyway. At least New England Cafe sells...

I'm sorry I couldn't take pics of the new sign, but you should know that Ice Mountain is now off the contract. Dannon is now the water company which sponsors the park. I was working at a buyout today and I noticed they changed the sign. You can go to the park on opening day and find out for yourself.

Yankee Clipper's glory days are BACK!!!!!! For the big 30!

BIG news! The classic (and more sensical) name Yankee Clipper has returned to the map and did away with the lame "Ice Mountain Splash" for sure! The only problem is that the logo for the entrance has been 'modernized' and the old entrance is still gone (V2 stands there now). But I'm ...

Calm down, it's not so bad. It's a classic to begin with. The song has been around since the two Great Americas opened and I think they should play it on XM Kids or something. Maybe Radio Disney. By the way, does anyone have a copy of the Looney Tunes medley which you hear on Sky Trek Tower if it's ...

Gurnee. Enough said.

I never went to the Santa Clara one. In fact, I've never been to California. Period.

I remember back in '78 or '79 some disgruntled techie quit the park in mid-season and on his last day he programmed the Marriott sign to say
DISNEYLAND IS BETTER. It flashed like that for like two hours until someone at the park reported it.[/quote]

ROFL!

I have a correction to make. The article says that Sleepy Hollow 3D was shown in 2005. Haunted Castle 3D was shown in 2005.

I can't remember much about my first visit to MGA because I was just a little toddler. Back when tickets were cheaper my parents used to take me there with my sisters. I do remember getting my first taste of cotton candy at the Sticky Fingers and my legendary excursion around the Bugs Bunny Land -- ...

Southwest Scaritory is the Southwest Territory section transformed for Fright Fest. They have a different soundtrack than Southwest Territory. Six Flags made it exclusively for the section. A sinister 'marshall' voice is depicted in front of a honky tonk piano, plus occasional sound effects. Then th...

I know the County Fair soundtrack from the back of my head. I was acquainted with it at work and I heard the whole 32 minutes of it so much it was getting old. :D Now I've got you. I have another correction to make. About the following files, 'yankee1' and 'turkeyinthestraw_yankee', I don't remember...

About how many minutes was the soundtrack? Sure it can get cheesy, but not like most of today's pop and R&B 'music', or anything you hear on KISS-FM. That's a radio station I was forced to listen to at my work unit. Teenagers! 'Dont'cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me', 'I ain't yo' hollaba...
