In 1984 Evolution of Rock II had a live band in the Music Hall.

It had a section in the beginning where the parade would stop and Bugs Bunny ran off the float and did a dance with a voice track. After it went into the usual Gene Patrick amusement park type music over and over until the parade ended. I will have to find the tape I have and put it onto my site.

Mel Blanc did still do all the voices. He would occasionally come by and visit us at the shows and do the voices for us (many times saying words that you would never have heard them say in public). Attendance at rides and shows was kept because that is how budgeting was done. I was told that for every count the show/ride would get so many cents from the general fund. If a ride or show couldn't pay for itself, it would be closed.

I don't know how many people know where the names came from for many of the shops and restraunts. Maggie Brown is the wife of Dave Brown, the first GM of the SC park. He also previously owned the land the park is on. Penny P. Patrick is the wife of the first Director of Entertainment for both parks....
