WANTED: Gurnee Park Maps

Post by jonrev »

If anyone has a park map from past seasons scanned, please send me it. I'm working on a database of SFGAm Park Maps for the SFGAmWiki and all I have scanned is the 1997 map.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
-Jon

I saw RedFishPaw posted a link to some old park maps...here's the link

http://www.pbase.com/redfishpaw/great_america

scroll to the bottom...there's one folder with maps from 1976, 1986, 1987, 1988

Also in the Marriott 1978 folder, there is a park map from 1978.

Pretty Cool... I remember both the 1986 and 1987 maps, they actually coated the map with a sort of protective surface (which would come in VERY handy in the excessive amount of rain that we received those years )

I was a season ticket holder for both those years so I must have made at least 10 or 11 trips during the summer.

There are only 4 posted right now, some were removed, I'll try to find them and repost them. The images are available in 4 sizes (see below the file name at the bottom). The "original" file size is huge. By default you would be seeing the "large" file which is much smaller than the original.
