Ride op. ignorance

Post by Demonlover13 »

Me and Yankeeclipper91 went to Six Flags and asked some ride ops if they knew what the sky whirl was. Only 1 out of like 8 did. Pretty sad.

Yeah, pretty unfortunate that they don't teach them any history.

Yeah it is really sad that they don't have people working there that knows the history.

It's been that way for a long time. When I first visited Santa Clara in 1993, I found that none of the employees that I spoke to had any idea that there was a former sister park in Gurnee that was also named Great America.

I asked someone at loggers run about that earlier this year and they knew about that and how old loggers run was.

That is the same way how I feel. The people that have been working there a long time know more and are awesome to have a conversation with about the park. When you ask a teen they don't really care a whole lot or it is because they know nothing.

A nightmare...

that required the use of a VW bug to unload it during its demise. And the oil-dry consumption Capitol of the park. Yes even more than cliffhanger.
