Going Green

Post by Morgansupertech »

After working 5 years at the Santa Clara park I have come to the realization that Great America will never ever “go green” the way that Universal, Six Flags and Disney have. In fact, I’m pretty sure that all TWO cans and bottle recycling bins just get emptied into the trash dumpsters. It doesn’t really bother me that much, I just think its funny how Cedar Fair is so CHEAP that they will spend money on stickers for the trash cans but won’t put recycling cans in the park. There are a few backstage which no one uses; I don’t even use them because they are inconveniently placed. People have NO idea what kind of stuff gets tossed at that place. I have seen Foods dump multiple pallets of un-opened soda and energy drinks in the garbage because they didn’t sell by the end of the season, even though they haven’t expired yet…GIVE THEM TO ME!!!!

I'm sure they will eventually. Should be pretty common in amusements parks soon.
I need a great day this year, or 2, or 30!
