Rides I never rode

Post by PGA ROCKS »

Here are the rides I never have (and never will) ride.

Yankee Clipper: removed before I got the chance to ride
Sky Hawk:same thing
Turn of the Century: Wasn't alive in 1976, I've only ridden Demon
The Edge: removed
Bottoms Up: Never even knew about this one until now
Willards Whizzer:removed because of accident.

Can anyone describe these rides so I could know what they were like?

With the exception of Skyhawk those were great rides. Skyhawk was added post-Marriott, BTW and as I recall it was often closed due to technical problems.

Skyhawk...I thought it was cool...

I remember seeing that ride last time I was there (broken down, no less)...it was a neat concept. Does anybody have any technical background on that ride? I'm interested to know why it broke down so frequently.
The rides are great, the shows are great the fun is GREAT

I know, but I live twenty minutes away from the Santa Clara park. So, I never knew there was a park in Gurnee until a few months ago.
