More Grams, Employee Handbooks and other documents, including internal procedure memos, have been added to my photo album under "Misc. Stuff".
Yes indeed, these papers are destined for a place in history- just like the original copies of the Declaration of Independence and Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
OK, at the very least there are some fun things to see and read about the old days . . .

Nice collection, I enjoyed see the entire collection that you have posted. The "NOW" look (Neat Orderly and Well groomed)and your last photo 32/32 is interesting. I don't remember them being as fussy about hair when I started in 1985, of course Six Flags took over by then. I wish I had kept some of my 'Grams' to share. Thanks for posting your collection.

I agree, that is a great collection.
I might have some of my 'Grams' when I worked at the park. If I find them, I'll see if I can post a few as well.
Thanks for taking the time to put that together and share it with us!

Yes, I enjoyed this new collection.
Another question to those of us who haven't worked at Great America...where are/were the greenhouses had grew all the plants and flowers for the park?
I was not surprised by the number of flowers that are planted every year in the early years of Marriots. I think that the flowers definitely add a beauty in each themed area.
Thanks!

A few more paperwork items added to my "Misc. Stuff" folder.
My favorite is the employee Vehicle Operators Permit.
It's from 1981, and it still lists the "three" park locations- San Francisco, Chicago and Washington. They must have had a ton of those printed up before '76!
The license is a bit beat up after spending 5 years in my wallet.
There's also an employee admission card from '82. I never used it, partly because we often skirted the rules and "entered" the park from backstage- just one of those things we could get away with.
