Sorry about that. Photo should now work.

The problem I run into is that with me hosting the pictures myself, I need to post them with both URL's at first (Internal to my LAN, and then the one that everyone else will see). Problem is, if I don't VPN into my Company's network to test the external link, I don't know if its working or not. Last night I was in a bit of a hurry to post this, and did not want to connect up my laptop and VPN in. Guess next time I'll be more carefull.

So, thanks for letting me know, and sorry about the bad link.

:)

Now they could use it for sledding and ice skating.

SFGAm should do what Kings Island does. Open the park during the holiday season and do something like Fright Fest, but with holiday theme.

Oh boy, you would think I would know, wouldn't you? :?
I'm guessing it was the winter of '85-'86, but I can't say for sure!

One thing I want to point out in the middle of picture-
Look for the row of "cars" lined up along the road that turns to the right. I can't remember what ride they belonged to . . . blue-ish silver with a bar curving over the top. I believe the curved bar is what attached them to their ride. Surely someone here knows where they came from!

During the winter, the cars from many of the rides were removed and lined up in various places along the service roads, awaiting their turn in the Facilities shop for refurbishing. (and there was a time, long ago, when I knew where they all belonged . . . )

Hey Tech Services 1...

Do those little cells of yours recall where more winter pics from Gurnee live?
If so, I'd appreciate seeing "all" of them....call me selfish! Thanks for the two you did post.

Hey Jeff,
There are seven pics in my album "Winter in Gurnee":

I know I have some more; it's just a matter of finding time to scan them and post 'em on this site.

Not to be a tease, but if you like winter pics and ride construction pics, wait until you see the White Water Rampage album I'm putting together! :o
