THERE'S SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES at Marriott's Great America. Designed especially for the park's younger guests are Le Bumpe, (upper left), a scaled-down version of the popular bumper cars, and Fort Fun, an acre of fun where youngsters can swoosh down colorful tubes, whiz down slippery slides, bounce on an air-filled trampoline, or bury themselves in thousands of brightly colored plastic balls. Marriott's Great America, located in Gurnee, Illinois, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee on Interstate 94, will open for its sixth season of family fun on Saturday, May 2. The park will then be open weekends only, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, through May 17. Daily operation begins May 23rd.
