Which Looney Tunes character was used for which ride?

Post by akorbel »

Hey, does anyone remember which Looney Tunes characters were used as height and ride guides for each of the MGA rides? It's probably easier to remember for people near SFGA since they still use Looney Tunes. I could be totally wrong but I think I remember these:

Skywhirl: Tweety Bird (?). I always remember b/c of Skywhirl's "birdcages".

Bottom's Up: Petunia Pig

Rue Le Dodge: Pepe Le Peu (sp?)

The Demon: Tazmanian Devil

Logger's Run: Yosemite Sam?

Eagle's Flight: Foghorn Leghorn

That's a great question. I don't remember any of them! Here's a photo, though, that shows that it was Taz for the Tidal Wave:

This photo also shows the two different colors of shirts of the Yankee Harbor costume. This costume was the same design for both males and females.

Those are early Yankee costumes. I remember by 1985 the pants were knee length. The strip shirt (narrow strips) had elbow length sleeves and there was also a red vest.
