Great website Steven! Good to see you too Dean. We worked together back in 1983 and had a blast. You were the magician at the Theater Royal and did a great show at the employee night. It was some great times back then!
Today, my job at MGA was still the best ever!!!!

Thank You Steve
Just wanted to add my 2 cents to that Thank You to Steven
Was MGA Singer from 1976 - 1979
Music America '76
Holiday '77
Broadway '77
Silver Screen '78
Rock n Roll Show '77 (limited performances)
Music America '79 - Rye Playland in NY
I agree that my years at Marriott's were the most memorable, grueling, and to this day rewarding.
You guys ever want to know what it was like those 1st years at the park - feel free to ask.
Is the painting in the boys dressing room still there?
During '77 one of the guys painted a mural on the dressing room wall.
I wil have to download a picture of it sometime so you can see. - It was kinda cool ( is was a nature/waterfall scene)
Any famous people ever come to the park while you were there?
we were fortunate enough to have:
Merv Griffin
Clint Eastwood
Roy Rogers & Dale Evans
The Osmond Brothers
Marty Feldman (comedian - heavy guy w/frizzy hair)
and a few soap opera stars
and of course that 1st year we got to meet JW Marriott
My most memoragle moment was the night before the park opened in
March of '76
we had 2 performances of Music America for the employees
it was the greatest crowd we ever had.
One time during Silver Screen '78 = on a very cold, wind, dreary day
at 5:30 - last performance - we did a show for ---- 10 people ---- no lie.
I remember we complained about that - we felt as a rule that if the audience size was smaller than the cast size (which was 18) the performance should be cancelled!!! but we did the show anyway - after a very long day!!
thought i would just share some memories
thanks
