Re: 1982 - ATARI VIDEO ADVENTURE
I just came across this randomly on the 'net, and wondered if there was a post about it. Was this in the building where Cafe LeGrand/Spaghetti Levee/Bourbon Street Cafe was in Gurnee? I recall when I visited the Santa Clara park in 1990 this building was being used as an arcade then.
Love the concept drawings!

Re: 1982 - ATARI VIDEO ADVENTURE
Some info I've added to my Atari History Timelines website,
http://mcurrent.name/atarihistory/ :
I've been able to trace the other four of Atari's "Adventure" locations forward in time by several years, into the early 1990's, but so far I can't find any record of Atari Video Adventure at Great America after the above article from summer of 1983. It's a mystery! I'd love to find out what happened to it, and when. If you can help, please post here and/or contact me at michael@mcurrent.name. Thanks!

Re: 1982 - ATARI VIDEO ADVENTURE
Hello and welcome!
Some of the Santa Clara alumni may be able to answer your question. If not, we might be able to trace the dates of the Atari Video Adventure by checking old park maps and brochures. I don't know much about the Atari Video Adventure at Santa Clara. I never saw it in person. I do have a lot of photos of it, though. They should be added to the web site, I suppose.
Best regards,
Steven
