Like the iconic Carousels Columbia, the Fiddler’s Flings opened at both Marriott’s GREAT AMERICA parks in 1976 and remain in operation today in their original locations. A product of the Anton Schwarzkopf company of Germany, the trade name for this ride is “Calypso”. At Santa Clara, the Fiddler’s Fling has been renamed as Centrifuge.
